Our client, a prestigious full-service law firm, is seeking an Employee Benefits Paralegal to join their downtown Tampa office. Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with matters involving qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, and executive compensation arrangements.
Support compliance projects related to retirement plans and employee benefits regulations.
Prepare, review, and organize legal and administrative documents.
Maintain accurate records and assist with ongoing plan administration and compliance activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with retirement plans, either as a paralegal or with a third-party plan administrator or recordkeeper.
QKA or QKC certification is preferred.
Familiarity with compliance matters related to retirement plans and/or health and welfare benefit plans.
Experience with health and welfare benefits and/or executive compensation plans is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Professional demeanor with a client-service mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with ASCi plan document generation systems is preferred but not required.
