Our client, an esteemed national law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Debt, Servicing & Restructuring Group in Atlanta. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated real estate finance matters representing mid-market lenders across a broad range of transactions.  

Responsibilities: 

• Represent lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions. 

• Assist with acquisition, construction, bridge, mezzanine and other real estate secured financing transactions. 

• Conduct due diligence and review title, survey, organizational and other transaction documents. 

• Advise clients on loan closings, modifications, workouts and restructurings. 

• Manage multiple transactions and work collaboratively with attorneys, clients and other deal professionals.  

Qualifications: 

• 3 to 7 years of experience in real estate finance, commercial lending or a closely related transactional practice. J.D. from an accredited law school. 

• Admitted and in good standing with the Georgia Bar. 

• BigLaw experience is highly preferred. 

• Experience representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions. 

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and communication skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a fast paced environment. 

• Strong academic credentials preferred.
