Our client is seeking an attorney to join its complex product liability defense practice, with a focus on asbestos and talc litigation in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts. Office location is flexible/hybrid schedule.  

This role offers exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation alongside attorneys nationally recognized for defending occupational disease and long-tail exposure claims on behalf of insurers, public entities, and major corporate clients.Attorneys in this role will take on meaningful responsibility, manage active cases, and collaborate closely with senior partners in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.  

The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $135,000 to $190,000 commensurate with experience and skill set. Compensation also includes monthly and annual bonuses.  

Experience 

• Experience defending complex product liability matters specifically asbestos and talc litigation. 

• Hands-on experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice. 

• Ability to manage active dockets and take ownership of matters from inception through resolution. 

• Experience collaborating with senior partners and multidisciplinary litigation teams. 

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills in high-stakes litigation.  

Requirements 

• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter. 

• Must be licensed to practice in New York (New Jersey a plus). 

• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
