Zerega Consulting is conducting a search for a 4th–6th year Energy Transactional Associate to join a highly regarded energy boutique with a sophisticated and extremely busy electric power practice.

The attorney will work directly with experienced partners on complex, high-value energy transactions involving project development and finance, M&A, joint ventures and other transactions within the electric power industry. Prior electric power experience is not required, and the firm is open to strong transactional attorneys with relevant project finance, project development or construction transactional experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 4–6 years of sophisticated transactional experience with strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Energy or electric power experience is preferred but not required. Attorneys with project finance or project development experience involving energy transactions are encouraged to apply, and candidates with strong transactional construction experience may also be considered. Excellent drafting, communication and client-service skills are required.

This is a full-time, five-day in-office position in Atlanta offering competitive Atlanta-market compensation. The firm combines sophisticated, big-firm caliber work and clients with the collaborative culture and direct partner access of a specialized boutique.
