Our client, a highly regarded international law firm, is continuing to expand its California litigation practice and has exclusively retained Zerega Consulting to identify exceptional litigation associates.
This is an outstanding opportunity for attorneys who want to be true litigators. You'll handle sophisticated, high-exposure matters from inception through trial, appear in court, take and defend depositions, work directly with clients, and help shape case strategy alongside accomplished trial attorneys. The Opportunity
Junior Associates (0-3+ years): Ideal for attorneys with defense pre-litigation and/or litigation experience who are eager to develop their litigation skills through hands-on training, early responsibility, and significant courtroom exposure.
Mid-Level & Senior Associates (4+ Years): An excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking greater autonomy, increased client contact, leadership opportunities, and a meaningful role in the continued growth of a thriving litigation practice.
From day one, you'll work alongside respected litigators on sophisticated, high-stakes matters while building the skills, relationships, and trial experience necessary for long-term success.
Candidates must be admitted to practice in California.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
Work directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
Investigate claims and evaluate litigation risk
Manage multiple matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
