Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant | Downtown Office | $68,000–$75,000 (Hartford, CT)
A nationally respected law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support Shareholders and Associates in its busy downtown office. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, proofread, and file legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
Manage court deadlines, including calendaring and monitoring of all key dates
Support attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation
Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain attorney calendars
Maintain organized client files and legal records
Submit intake and conflicts check requests
Assist with time entry and client billing
Provide support across the litigation team as needed
Qualifications:
5–7 years of litigation experience, with a strong understanding of Federal and State court procedures
Proficiency in e-filing requirements and litigation protocols
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
Strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with electronic document management systems such as FileSite is preferred
A flexible team player who can adapt quickly and support multiple attorneys effectively
