Job Description:
Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join their Tampa office. Their Trusts and Estates practice provides sophisticated legal solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Prepare and file probate and trust administration documents in state and federal courts.
Manage estate and trust administration matters, including asset collection, accounting, and distributions.
Draft correspondence, legal memoranda, and other client communications.
Maintained and organized client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in preparing estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and related filings.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a trusts and estates paralegal in a law firm setting.
Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of Florida probate and trust administration procedures.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients.
