Job Description:
Our client, a highly regarded AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support their dynamic defense litigation team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Responsibilities:
Perform e-filing with state and federal courts.
Maintain and manage attorneys’ calendars, including scheduling travel, appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
Assist attorneys in preparing, editing, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
Organize and maintain files and records.
Submit new client intake forms and perform conflict checks.
Prepare and process time entries and client billing.
Provide backup support to other legal assistants and attorneys as needed.
Transcribe dictated information accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3–6 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, specifically defense litigation.
Trial work experience is highly preferred.
Experience with iManage is preferred.
Proven ability to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, initiative, flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
