Job Description:
Our client, a top national law firm with twenty-three (23) offices around the country, seeks a full-time litigation paralegal/legal assistant for its Dallas office. This is an onsite position at their beautiful office located downtown Dallas by Pacific Plaza! The position comes with a great package and a salary to $85K depending on experience level.
Responsibilities:
Prepare correspondence and assist with preparing pleadings and discovery in federal and state civil matters and arbitration proceedings
Manage the conflicts check process for new matters
Schedule depositions and coordinate client meetings
Analyze, review and organize privileged documents and data from materials produced during discovery
Maintain case files
E-file court documents, both on the state and federal levels
Qualifications:
College degree
Three (3) solid years of litigation experience
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, strong writing/grammar skills
Keen attention to details, ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
Accurate typing of 65+ wpm
Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel knowledge, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Qualified candidates must be able to work in a team environment, as well as adapt to changes in workload and job responsibilities
