Our client, a highly respected boutique litigation and business law firm, is seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to assist with a short-term acquisitions project. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong M&A transactional experience who is looking for flexible, project-based work with a sophisticated legal team. The initial engagement is expected to last approximately four weeks, although there is potential for the project to be extended based on business needs.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an attorney who can step in quickly, work independently, and provide immediate value on acquisition-related matters. The attorney will work closely with the firm's partners on active transactions involving sophisticated business clients.

Expected Commitment

• Approximately 10–20 hours per week

• Initial project anticipated to last 4 weeks

• Potential for extension

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Demonstrated experience handling mergers & acquisitions and business acquisitions is required

• Ability to review, draft, and negotiate transaction documents

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

• Immediate availability preferred
