Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join one of their several offices. Ideally this associate will sit in their San Francisco office; however, they are open to the right candidate working remotely. They are seeking a litigator experienced in construction defense and construction defect matters. Responsibilities 

  • Communicate with clients, partners and other members of the practice group, and additional stakeholders regarding case developments. 

  • Manage a caseload consisting of a variety of construction litigation matters. 

  • Attend and argue motions in court. 

  • Conduct and defend depositions, as well as appear at court hearings.

Qualifications 

  • 3-8 years of construction litigation experience. 

  • Experience with construction and construction defect litigation. 

  • Experience with drafting pleadings, motions and discovery. 

  • Experience conducting and defending depositions. 

  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills. 

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter. 

  • Must be licensed to practice in California or the state in which the candidate resides. 

  • Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. 

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is between $130,000-$190,000 annually, but will be determined by a number of factors including experience, location and other job-related factors.
