Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join one of their several offices. Ideally this associate will sit in their San Francisco office; however, they are open to the right candidate working remotely. They are seeking a litigator experienced in construction defense and construction defect matters. Responsibilities
Communicate with clients, partners and other members of the practice group, and additional stakeholders regarding case developments.
Manage a caseload consisting of a variety of construction litigation matters.
Attend and argue motions in court.
Conduct and defend depositions, as well as appear at court hearings.
Qualifications
3-8 years of construction litigation experience.
Experience with construction and construction defect litigation.
Experience with drafting pleadings, motions and discovery.
Experience conducting and defending depositions.
Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
Must be licensed to practice in California or the state in which the candidate resides.
Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
The estimated base salary range for this role is between $130,000-$190,000 annually, but will be determined by a number of factors including experience, location and other job-related factors.
